Don’t live without adding vinegar to your food! 

Vinegar is an important food condiment that not only makes your food tastes great but also provides great health benefits.  

The important health benefits of vinegar are that it improves blood sugar control and helps reduce body fat that can result in weight loss. Clinical trials have shown that adding 2 teaspoons of vinegar to a meal may improve blood sugar control and decreasing the blood sugar spike after a meal by 20%. Patients with type 2 diabetes who consume 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar at bedtime were found to wake up with better blood glucose levels in the morning. Clinical trials have also shown that consuming daily vinegar drinks with 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar yields to weight loss especially their abdominal fat where chronic disease risk is associated with.  

Vinegar can also help restore ovarian function with women who have polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and it can also improve artery function in postmenopausal women. Clinical trials have shown that a daily tablespoon of apple cider vinegar restored ovarian function within a few months in 4 out of 7 women with PCOS. The acetate from the acetic acid in vinegar may lead to improved nitric-oxide production which can also help improve hypertension levels. Clinical trials have shown that a tablespoon of rice vinegar improved artery function in postmenopausal women.
