Chaga mushroom (nonotus obliqlulus) is a fungus that grows on birch trees in cold climates in the northern hemisphere including Asia, Europe, Canada and the Northeastern United States. For many centuries, Chaga has been traditionally used in folk medicine for various ailments for including joint pain, digestion, skin problems and infections.

Chaga is rich is antioxidants and plant compounds including triterpenoids, melanins, polysaccharides, flavors and polyphenols. Antioxidants help fight free radicals in the body and may help prevent the risk of chronic diseases.
