Happy New Year!!!
It’s that time of year again to reset your goals in life whether it’s health and wellness, career, or life in general.
I just want to remind you of a few things that you should take into account.
First, don’t be so hard on yourself! No one is perfect and it’s ok if you don’t complete your goals in your desired specified time frame.
Second, if you are finally deciding to take the next step in prioritizing your health and wellness then remember to start small. Set realistic expectations.
If you haven’t exercised in a long time then don’t start with any strenuous exercises. I recommend starting small such as getting on the treadmill at a speed that you’re comfortable with for 10min and then build your endurance over time.
Eat clean as much as you can and indulge in moderation. I have my free beginner 7-day whole-foods plant-based meal plan on my website www.simplecleanwell.com that you can download.
I also have some recipes on my website and on YouTube for some inspiration. You can always schedule me for a consultation as well.
Remember to set boundaries for everyone including, family, friends, significant others and work colleagues.
Lastly, don’t forget to take care of your mental health. Life is not easy and it’s okay to seek some help. I always recommend speaking to a therapist. I also have a few meditation videos on YouTube that may help as well.
