On April 8, 2025, friends, families and colleagues gathered to spend a nice evening watching their favorite musical merengue artist Rubby Perez perform as they danced the night away not thinking that the evening would turn into a tragedy.
The roof of the iconic Jetset Nightclub in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic collapsed resulting in 226 deaths and approximately 189 injuries. My heart is heavy. I send my condolences to all the families affected by this tragedy.

El 8 de abril de 2025, amigos, familiares y colegas se reunieron para disfrutar de una agradable velada viendo a su artista de merengue favorito, Rubby Pérez, mientras bailaban toda la noche sin imaginar que la noche se convertiría en una tragedia.
El techo del icónico club nocturno Jetset en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, se derrumbó, causando 226 muertos y aproximadamente 189 heridos. Lo siento mucho. Envío mis condolencias a todas las familias afectadas por esta tragedia.
