Teriyaki Chicken Wings

Serving size 4-6

Ingredients:

2-3lbs of chicken wings

2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar

1 cup of coconut aminos

2 green onions, thinly sliced

5 tablespoons of maple syrup

3 garlic cloves, minced

1-2 inches of fresh ginger, grated

ΒΌ of teaspoon of sesame seeds

Method:

1.     In a large bowl, combine the freshly grated ginger, garlic, and coconut aminos. Mix marinade well.

2.     In a Ziploc bag, place your chicken wings then add the marinade. Make sure the marinade coats all of the chicken wings. Allow to marinate for at least 1 hour in the fridge.

3.     In the meantime, chop and dice the green onions and set aside.

4.     Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line baking dish with parchment paper.

5.     After you allow the chicken to marinate for at least an hour in the fridge, add the chicken wings onto the baking dish with parchment paper. Pour some of the marinade onto the chicken.

6.     Bake the chicken wings for 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you would like your chicken wings crispy then allow it to bake longer.

7.     Remove chicken wings from oven. Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions all over the chicken wings.

8.     Serve and enjoy.
